JINEAN BARNES

DNP and FNP

I am Jinean Barnes a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in various areas in the medical field. In 2019 I received my Master of Science degree in Nursing from Medical University of South Carolina and completed my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.

I am dedicated to providing care focused on evidenced-based practice to restore and maintain wellness of the whole body by educating and counseling patients and families while promoting health and disease prevention.

Joining the team of Danville Gastroenterology Center has allowed me to grow, sharpen my skills and knowledge as a provider.

As a young child, I knew I wanted to a nurse. Caring for others and nursing has always been my passion. I love spending time with family, friends, and my community. I also enjoy traveling, dancing, singing and walking my dog. I am compassionate about what I do and strive deliver quality patient care.
